a series 2 PTU?

What are the benefits of switching to series 2?
What are the cons of this?

What are the differences between the series 1 and series 2?

Do i need to have my ECU remapped for this?

Thank you all in advance

A Series 1 PTU is the older style, pre-1993. A Series 2 PTU is the newer style, post-1993.

Older style PTU's are prone to failure because they overheat. Newer styles are much less likely to fail. The only con of a new style (series 2) is that you will need to either get the subharness adapter to connect it, or solder in the newer style connectors to your harness (not hard to do).
