What is stock boost............??

So i got a 1991 180sx with sr20det , apexi intake and cat/back exhaust (3inch)

i install my AEM Tru boost controller.. i leave the solenoid off to see what my stock boost is

..... 8.86 PSI

i guess i have a healthy turbo right?

(p.s no leaks on my turbo pressure line)

so what was your stock boost @ ??

IIRC stock boost on the SR t25 is 7psi.

Just ran it @ 20% duty cycle.. gave me a peak boost of 10.9 PSI

but it felt like the car was kicking.. less power then more power.. less power then more power

stock boost in my eyes is having the line coming off the turbo, go right to the wastegate. so for my CA, it peaks at 11 or 12psi on my gauge.
