What is RAS?

hi, so I got my car today, cool, but it has a light in the dash that says RAS, what is that for? And it also has two CRUISE lights on the dash as well ,a green one and a yellow/orange one.

the RAS light means Rear Active Steer, in the US sport models of the M45/35 had this feature and it turns the rear wheels a certain amount above a certain speed, it is for handling purposes..pretty much a version of Nissan's HICAS

I assume when you say it has those lights, you mean they're always on? Or do they illuminate when starting the car, then turn off? If they're always on, that system has a problem.

Yes, they are only on when the starting and turn off when started.
