What is needed to do a 89-90 240sx Heads Up Display to Analog cluster conversion? My HUD has been out for awhile now and just wanna convert it to an analog cluster since its cheaper and probly more easier to find.

Thanks in advance. I tried searching but couldnt come up with nothing.

dash amd cluster...

thats about it...if u have dohc s13 then u need dohc s13 cluster..and vice versa for single cam

the hud cluster has an extra plug for the HUD that the regular cluster doesnt...so its all plug n play

ok thanks, someone told me I would need the (sub?)harness for the sohc analog cluster too? ill cover up the hud hole with my dashboard cover like its doing with the cracks on the dash.

Yep, you'll need the sub harness too, as I recall. I went from Analog to Digital and the needed the sub harness as well.

If you find the analog cluster on ebay, they typically have the sub harness too. If it's not listed in the auction, ask them for it. Most feel no one is interested in the sub harness (and I guess that's typically correct).

Other than, it really is plug and play.

I'm still trying to find a good condition digital dash to mount the HUD portion of mine in.

i need the same question awnsered but i'm swapping a 91 dohc analog for my busted digital cluster do i need to do the same thing and track down the sub harness or will it plug and play with the original harness........and sorry i'm really new to all this i have no mechanical experience so i'm having my 240 be my mechanics 101 lol

hey i was just wondering if anyone knows how to fix a digital cluster. i have been searching but cant find out how. its not my fuse, and it will not turn on at all neither will my dash lights. any help is greatly appreciated thank you all.
