I am planning a move from Florida to Delaware. The snow and my convertible will not get along. I need to sell it but my dealer is not interested. It is midnight garnet and absolutely loaded (tech package, etc). Does anyone have any idea what it might be worth? (yeah, i know I am going to lose some cash over this).

Plan on taking a bath on the depreciation. But, unless you are gonna commute big time the G Vert should be fine in DE for the 5 days a year that it may snow.

Isn't it always? Maybe 1 out of 100 people that sells a car will say "Gee, I didn't know it was still worth that much" the other 99 are always disappointed.

Cars are fun to own and drive, but are notoriously prone to rapid depreciation, and are rarely fun to sell.

I paid ~$50K for my BMW and have driven it all of 40K miles in 8 years. There is simply no way I will sell it until I drive it at least 100K miles since it may be worth a third of what I paid for it even though it's still in showroom condition. I love me some cars, but it's all about the driving the experience, never about the resale.
