Just out of curiosity, what would you estimate my car to be worth?

A list of mods (as well as more pictures) can be seen at both of my websites...

I also have a Blitz exhaust on there now, black piping, black muffler, polished tip with the blitz emblem engraved on the top. 2.75 inches with a 3.25 inch tip. Sounds amazing.

I wanna know roughly how much its worth

I would never give over $5k for a car that is already as built as yours. No fun in it, and (if I didn't know you) I wouldn't trust it.

Beautiful car! I'd love to find one like that but still looking for a solid base model S13 coupe locally.

no idea... got them from eBay. they look barely used though. still have stickers inside the wheels and they're all polished nicely

and the reason i ask how much its worth is I'm considering getting an mr-s but i need to know how much of a loan to get to cover the difference in price... thats quite a way down the road still though.

I was planning on starting the auction around $200... i'd like to get $250 for them. these are one of the last big things i've got left to sell to help fund my european vacation this summer so I want as much as I can get! lol

don't get me wrong, its a fun car, i'd just like something newer, and with college more than half way done, i want something a little bit less racey. i mean I pull up at the Marriott (where I work) and alot of people stare at the turbo 240 that just pulled in like wtf. lol.

also that 4 puck clutch and no a/c sucks pretty bad sitting in downtown traffic for half an hour. each way. every day. although the mileage i put on it, and its reliablity say something about CA's though. it deals with heat, traffic, and all sorts of stuff on a daily basis without so much as a hiccup.

we'll see what my money situation does with this new job (It seems like it might pay really really well ). I might try and get the mr2 and keep the s13, just store it somewhere maybe. I dunno.

put the car on Ebay , i had mine on there and had plenty of bids with way less done and some flaws. I would say 6500 or more. If I had the $$ i'd hop on it.

I'd tag it at $7200 OBO no less than $6500. the cost of these engines are going up because of their rarety and I can see the market getting a bit bigger for them. I know all too many SR owners who gotten tired of the mechanical issues asociated with their particular motors and their particular situations and decided to go buy a CA. So yeah Sean, I stand firm on my quote "Do what you gotta do". You car is nice as and I can say it with honesty because not only have I seen it in person, but I've driven it as well.

But I LOVE the Silvia front on the other 240 behind yours... everytime I see one it makes me want to buy a 240 and install that front... I think it looks sexy...

I love your setup also by the way... but that aero front just makes me drool...

Oh... any idea what color it is? I noticed yours is "Red", so what would his be? Looks a touch more "Orange" than your "Red".

Thanks,

all i can tell you is that its going to be worth way less than you spent on it. for that reason alone i am stuck with my car until i die or become so filthy rich it doesnt matter. i love my car too much to sell it right now though.

if you go with the mr-s, you may want to consider some trd options as well. its a little low on power, though it is a "zig-zag machine."

oh! and if you do sell it, try putting it up locally in Austin, Texas. i saw a stock 92 coupe in decent condition fetch 4 grand when i was there this summer. cars just seem to be worth more there... its strange.. maybe someone in austin can explain?

thanks dee. that means alot coming from you bro. I don't think i'm looking to do anything immediate, but now with a substantially higher income, and the end of school getting within sight (!) i'm considering what I'd like to get to replace the s13...

Thanks,
thats my friend cliff's car. he custom painted it himself, i don't know what paint code he used... it is slightly more orange than my car, but you don't notice it unless its parked next to a really red car. if you just see him drive by you'd think its a bright red car. i really like his car. very clean

I joined this group of ca18/s13 enthusists knowingly accepting that I'll never get out of the car what I put into it (in terms of money). Instead what I get out of it is the satisfaction of doing something myself, and learning how to work on cars. I knew little to nothing about motors before I got my CA, but now I can completely rebuild a motor. I have people calling ME for advice, and IMing me about how to do stuff. Thats an amazing accomplishment in my book. In the end we all spend otherwise crazy ammounts of money so we can build something unique, and what we want.

I'm extremely happy with the way my s13 turned out, but sometimes its fun to move on to a new car. Find a new challenge, and starting point. I'd still like to have a lightly tuned CA powered s13 one day, becuase it is an awesome car to play with. The motor is almostly stupidly simple to work on, yet excellently designed. Its reliable as a daily driver. Its a forgiving chassis. And the list goes on and on.

ive seen your car in person, and can honestly say i dont think you would have a problem getting more then $7000. your car is clean as hell, and if you could get someone up here in the northeast interested in it, you would have no problem selling it, since all we have are rusty **** boxes.

Sup sean, I honestly think you can get between 6800-$7K easy for your car. I have never been a big fan of coupes but your car has to be one of the nicest 240's I have ever seen. Hopefully you will keep it though. peace

its sitting in the garage resting now... i gave it a good beating on the way home today. that exhaust sounds SICK i also just picked up an enjuku hotpipe today, and while its not on the car yet, it is a NICE piece. They have a ton in stock (non flanged or flanged) and they're really cool guys. Support our sponsors! haha... i might pick up a greddy fmic kit from them a little bit later this week!

Yea, the guys at enuku are really cool. I've gotten stuff from them and it was ALWAYS a good experience.
