what do you guys think my car is worth?????

i have a possible for sale s14 with a rb25det, the car is rust free and was from alabama i bought it out in georgia. i bought it with a ka-t and i sold that for a rb. the swap was done by killswitch motorsports in gerogia. not that it matters, but if you are street driving your car and you piss off a cop he /she has 2major reasons to impound your car.

your R33 engine bay tag- looks cool, but replacing these tags causes a vin miss match issue, and they can say you vehicle may be stolen.

the steering wheel- taking an airbag off of a factory airbag equipped car (the dash vin tag has a SRS AirBag logo) it is ILLEGAL unless you have to sit all the way up to the steering wheel, cause your short or disabled. Dealer has to be the one to disable it if you qualify.

AND yess I know what everyone is thinking, if they notice thats its a RB its not street legal to begin with

but other than that car looks lice, ive seen similar cars in DFW Texas with everything as legal as possible sell from $7000-10,000.

Lets not get too carried away here. 1st does the car have any rust? You could say the car is worth 12-15k but who has that kinda money? some people do and sometimes the cars can be sold at that. I really don't see 12-15k stuff listed. I'd shoot for 8k-9k obo on it if you want to get it sold, you never get back what you put into the car. But then again maybe you can add drift tax to it and get that price from some rich kid.

Yeah even if someone wanted to spend $15k on it, it is hard to come up with financing because no bank is going to give someone that kind of money for a car that is worth $6-8k in the bank's eyes. If he/she could find a bank to finance it, then they will likely charge a high interest rate to cover their a$$ because of the increased risk. Seriously though, it would be like someone asking you to give them $50k to buy a skateboard and they proooomise to pay you back.

You might be better off selling out the motor for a good price and then selling the shell with all the wheels/tires/suspension goodies in tact.

I always say this, but youd be better off parting the motor out and throwing a KA back in or something. That is a long process tho and not very realistic in 90% of our situations.

Its a shame how cheap everyone is in the 240 community. Then again, our cars are old and built for economy lol

take it out for a photoshoot. get some magazine quality pictures and the price will JUMP - it works.

You probably have an idea of how much you'd get for the car but if you do choose to part it out, i'm interested in the entire motor setup (mounts, DP, front mount, etc.)

fwiw, the bank is most likely gonna give you around 5k at best. the bank asks for the mileage (remember it's the mileage on the odometer, not the engine). unless the dude can come up with the rest of the money. just my 2 cents.
