What is my 1992 convertible worth?

I'm thinking of selling my 92/3 240sx convertible. 130k miles

It needs:painttransmission

What should I ask for it?

Wow, with so many pictures and such a complete description it'll be easy to put a price on it.

Seriously it could be worth $500 - $5000 depending on condition, mods, top, rust, etc. Does the transmission not work at all or does it stick in certain gears? If so there's a fix for that.

Some of the modded cars on this board are going for $3500 - $4500. Check the classified here and compare you car to theirs to get a better idea.

If all else fails I'll give you $400 for it!

Thanks for your reply.It's in ok condition.No rust. Trans only goes into 1st & 2nd gear.strong engine.No body damage. Top does not leak. (But is ugly.)When driven feels very solid.Any thing else?

Having the transmission work will increase the value greatly. Check out this thread from 5 years ago that addresses many of the vert's AT problems. There's also a picture of which plug to unplug.
