In some aftermarket parts (JUN AUTO) the term lash and solid is used. What do they mean? Is the stock SR20DET a lash or solid? Is there any benefit to using solid than lash/ lash than solid? Thanks

the higher revs doesnt mean that u make the power in ur now more higher rev range right? u would have to get power adders that can actually make power in that higher range am i correct? what i am tryin to say is that just cuz u have the ability to rev higher does that mean that u make power in that higher range?

motor makes power wherever you have tuned it to make power. The hydrolic lifters just cant move at 8k - 9k rpm.. The solid ones can. however they require adjustment and shiming (something i dont know how to do!)

And they are loud and the sr still has rockers which suck arse for revving high. I wouldn't rev too much past stock redline even with the solid lifters. Too be more specific, the solid tappet's will help in the prevention of valve float but do nothing for the rockers. An RAS will help keep them in place, but they can still break. Get a ca or custom rockers if you want to rev high.:)

What's the MTS tuning website (if there is one)?

I want to contact them about those rods you got a while back.

Thanks.
