What is it???

This may have been answered, and if it has, sorry for re-posting.

What is the cut out on the front bumper (on the drivers side)? I have noticed it on several other Versa S photos. I am just curious as to what it is and why it is there.

That is meant for the tow hook cable to pull your Versa out in case your Versa gets stuck in the snow or mud. All the Versa's should have the tow hook cable in the trunk/hatch in the bag that came with the wrench. I can't find mine anywhere.

Thanks so much. I didn't even know it had a cable, lol. I have been having so much fun driving it, I haven't taken time to look at the extras like that.

It's not a cable.. it is a steel "bar" like figure with a loop on the top of it so that you could hook a cable of to it for towing and all of that good stuff.

If you haven't found it yet than check in the trunk by the spare. It should be in a little pouch with the tire iron.

Thanks for the thread. I will be looking for mine soon, as we are still in the time period where the dealer wants to keep us happy.
