I was gonna unplug the battery and clean the terminals cause there is some corrosion on them. If I do that , what am I gonna loose? Like do I need a code for radio or am I gonna loose keyless remote ? Thanks.

Do you need a code? No
Will you loose keyless remote? No
Will you loose the station presets? Yes, unless you use an Automotive Settings Keeper w/Battery - Keep your Personal Settings when Replacing your Car Battery.

Thanks,I don't think I can use automotive settings keeper cause my power cuts off from cigarette lighter when the car is off. So other than station presets I won't loose anything? Like I don't need to do anything special after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery? Thanks.

Actually did it recently, cleaning and then replacing battery. So a couple times.

The usual is having to redo all my stereo settings.

I also like to use the trip b odometer to show how much miles I did for my last oil change. Those reset, so I hate losing those readings.

Lastly, the relearn programming for your driving, I don't really notice.

That's it for my experience.

Thanks for the reply. What do I have to do for the relearn programming for my driving?
