Is it just me or does the 03/04 M look much bigger than the new M? The new M looks a barely bigger than a G35. I know the 03/04 M has to be longer as it was built on the Q's frame but how much bigger is it on the inside?

The new M's are huge inside - much larger than a G. You can compare them both using carpoint.msn.com to see which is larger in each dimension.

depsite the longer body the old m45 have 91 cubic fit of interiro room adn the new ones have 105. But new one seems to have a higher ceiling so that muight be half of the increase. I think all in all they are close to the same. But i still think the 03 look better from the outside

Well the 03/04 were not on the same platform as the Q, the M is Y34 and Q is F50 platform. Either way, the new Ms are much wider but dont seem to be as long. I have sat in a newer M and I noticed right away the difference in space. I think the front space in our Y34s is ok but the rear is not made for adults. My newborn's car seat is not that big but when its behind my seat I have to move it up, I am 5'11" and I dont have my seat all the way back as some like to drive laying down, LOL.Oh well I guess I will wait until I get a F50 maybe Ill get a 05 or 06 in a couple years.Cheers

Drivng a 07 M45 today felt different then my 04...

The 07 felt like the dash was bigger and longer, had to reach more for the controls... larger center console between the drivers / passenger seats...

from a drivers perspective, i feel my 04 is more cush then the 07...

thats just me....
