*EDIT*Ive researched this topic and found out that Apexi's and Megan outsource these specific coilovers to another company..they are both the same design under different skinIf Apexi was smart enough to do this.. then Megan is on the right track

i would honestly go with apexi over megans any day. it shouldnt even be hard to make that decision. apexi products are race proven. widely used. they know what they are putting out for cunsumers. anything i have purchased from megan was crap. donwpipe, exhaust mani, short shifter. downpipe cracked as did the mani. and the short shifter caused abd shifting. it just wasnt balanced right. if your talking about megans 800 something dollar coilovers then i would go for the k-sports over megans. same price. decent dampening. decent ride height.

stay away from the megan race coilovers, they are the same thing as the streets but with alot stiffer spring. when you go to alot stiffer spring you should always change the valves in the shock to take the added spring pressure but the valves are the same and they cant take the abuse from the race springs.

i would go with apexi hands down over them but i would suggest going with the kts coilovers because if anything happens they have a good customer support center and you can rebuild them yourself. you wont have to wait over a month on a coilover to get back.

Both coilovers are made by the same suspension manufacturer. The main difference are the specifications they're made to. APEXi has certain specifications to make the coilovers, as does Megan. Aside from the appearance, the main difference is in the damping of the shocks/struts. Spring rates may be different, but as stated before, they manufactured them to APEXi's specifications.

If you look at it, it's like that for many, many parts in the auto world. Cusco's clutches are Exedy pieces with Cusco's specs to make them a tad different; KYB makes shocks for many suspesion companies (i.e. Tanabe, etc); HKS turbos are Garrett of Japan; etc, etc.

dude i actually did my research.

i just wanted more input expecially coming from megan track owners.

i've had it for few months now and im pretty satisfied.

i want to try a different kind of coils on my s14 tho.
