before i bought my Z the guy ran it over a curb and slanted the wheels, i replaced the passenger side tension rod, spindle, upper and lower control arm and the wheel straightened right up. i went to get it aligned today and the wheel on the drivers side slants kinda like this /. i cant figure out what it is. could it be the spindle?

Is that negative camber you are referring too? Looks like //======\\ if you view the car from the front/rear. Did the alignment specs check out? Or could the technician not complete the alignment. It's possible you might need more adjustability in your suspension components if the chassis is bent.

the car was originally wrecked on the passenger side, the wheels before i replaced the passenger side tension rod, control arms, and spindle looked like this //====//. now after replacing the passenger side it looks like this //====||. there is a tilt on the drivers side wheel at the top and the control arm bushings, tension rod, and tie rod all have play in them on the drivers side. i can decide if the spindle is bent and if i should replace all the components in the wheel well?

Side note - how hard was it to replace the passenger control arm. I got my z aligned and when they lifted it up the tech showed me the control arm was bent, so it pulls to the right all the time. I bought a used one from someone here, but haven't tried to install it yet. Also wondering if I can replace that by itself or if I'll need to replace some other stuff too. I'm not a mechanical genius by any means, so I'm learning this as I go. Not meaning to jack your thread, just related questions!

actually changing the control arm isn't bad. I had to change almost everything on my passenger side and am in the process of changing all the stuff on the drivers side. depending on which one your replacing the upper control arm is bolted to a dog bone on top that has four bolts you have to take out along with a few bolts that hold it to the spindle along with everything else :bang . the lower control arm is pretty easy to replace just take a few bolts off put the new piece in and your good. i took my spindle, rotor, brake caliper, tension rod, both control arms, and tie rod out because i needed to replace them and it was the easiest way. you might want to consider looking at your tie rods and how much plays in the bushings in the tension rod and dog bone for the upper control arm.
