All you need is the stock a/c system that comes in the s14. The wires to splice together can be found on fresh alloy. The S14 KA compressor bolts right up to the redtop a/c bracket with all four bolts. You even use the same a/c compressor wire that comes off the chassis.

probably a stupid question, but will this also work for a blacktop s14 sr in an s14?

I welded the SR fittings onto my KA lines and ran the SR compressor. The clutch was just hooked up to a switch that hit it with 12volts when I turnned it on.

If you do that be sure to replace your dryer and have the system evacuated before you re-fill it.

It worked great and blew very cold, the only problem I found was that you HAVE to wire a fan to the same switch, otherwise you can have big problems... like hole in the hood problems.... trust me

I never could figure out how to get my S14 compressor to bolt up to the SR.

What do you mean the clutch was hooked up to a switch?

Wide_S14, the A/C compressor has a electric clutch that engages the compressor when you supply power to it.
