I was taking apart the hornpad on my s13 and it looks like I can just take off the old steering wheel and put on my new momo one. I havent taken everything apart just yet. What is a steering wheel hub and do I even need to buy a momo hub for the momo wheel?

the hub is used for what it is intended, to be able to mount the momo wheel to your steering column. you can't just bolt the momo directly to the steering column;)

YOu had 2 questions in your last sentence which can be answered yes or no.

The hub looks like this. LIke the other guy said, the hub attaches to the steering wheel column and then you attach the wheel to the hub.
