What is a front clip?

i haven't really thought about swapping my engine. mainly because i know of NO competent mechanics or shops that could do it in my area. i could probably do it myself and with a friend, but i don't have the space either. i'd love to put an s14 blacktop in my s14. so i've been reading a little bit about it. but i have no idea what a front clip is....:oface

The front half of the car. Typically cut at the door jams. Lots of goodies included
