I was wondering i was conisder buying a 300zx tt but then the insur. will kill me for a LONG time. Or i could buy a 300zx n/a 2+2 low insur cost. But in the long run i want a tt. Should i just get a tt or do a n/a swap to tt?what do yall think is better in the long run? If it is gonna be a very expensive swap shouldnt i drop a RB26DETT into it? its esmt. 13k for that swap when you buy all the parts and install yourself.

What do yall pros think?thanx

rb not such a good idea. think of it this way tt 3ltr vs tt2.6ltr. the dett swapp will be easier and probably more effective. by the way i just thought that smiley looked cool.

The z32 TT is not a cheep car to build/swap/maintain.

The N/A version is a great car w/o the power needed to make the heavy Grand Touring car fast. It's still a whole lot of fun to drive and T-tops are great.

I say if you want a TT save up and buy the TT, if you happen upon a deal on a car with a bad motor and want to do the swap nby all means do but I think it's ssilly to buy a running car just to spend a buch of money swapping motors, you'l end up with a lot of expenses and a lot of lost time, maybe you need an N/A for now and can better afford a TT in a few years, or maybe even a used Z33 they are a tick faster than the TT and in a couple of years
