What is a 14-point inspection?
What is a 14-point inspection?
I got this coupon from my local nissan dealer offering a free 14 point inspection. is it worth it?? in other words are they simple things i can do myself like fluid level checks, tire pressure, etc.??

I don't believe that 14 pt. inspection includes alignment as they normally charge for stuff like that. It's pretty much a brief visual inspection of fluid levels, belts, hoses, tires, etc, stuff you could check yourself. Remember a dealer will be more than happy to tell you for free what repairs they think you'll need (which are not free).

the inspections that we offer for free at the dealerships that i have worked at are just a way to get customers in to drum up business-we look at the car to find things to sell to you-it is nothing more than a cheap marketing ploy!!! unless they offer anything than just minor checks that you can do yourself than it is not worthit!!
