The question is..."do you need a RSPL?"

To answer your question both are great ICs and will do great for high boost applications.

Get the HKS. At least it might come with instructions.

I have a Blitz LM and all the instructions it came with were in Japanese. The only english writing on the whole instruction manual was the Blitz logo itself, and the phrase under the logo. Nothing, and I mean NOTHNG else was in american.

Iowa,I got GReddy kit. It sucks, and the core isn't the same as Blitz. It's a little bit more cheaply made. I wanted the Blitz LM, but it was on backorder because of harbor strike when I needed an FMIC.

Zaxx,Obviously.

Ahhh yes, but you fail to mention that the insturctions are packed full of VERY detailed photos and you would have to be a fagtard to not be able to understand them...

Blitz LM is very good stuff, very good indeed...

I got Greddy Vspl. No instruction too. :( I haven't put it on yet though. Bud, how difficult is it? Did you just eyeball where to drill the hole in the battery plate?

I don't know why, but Greddy stopped putting instructions in FMIC kits to the US about a year ago. Stupid move on their part. Look here for where to drill your hole. NOTE: hole saw is a better way to make this hole but this method works.

Get Blitz if you can. IMO, it's a nicer kit.

As for what Jeff said, he is 100% correct. Get a nice 4" hole saw AND MAKE SURE YOU KEEP IT LUBED. I wasn't thinking and didn't lube the saw when I was cutting for my friends Blitz kit and I burned up the drill. I used a drill and a dremel on mine and it came out looking like crap, but it works.

The Blitz kit also has a diagram that shows exactly where to cut with a 3" hole saw. If you get a 4" it takes some guess work out, plus your coldpipe will have some room to move around.

I have already cut out all the metal In the battery tray. so i should be good to go there. It came out super clean. Has anyone seen the blitz and hks-s intercooler side by side so i get a little review on why each is better? Im not worried about instructions.

Are we pretty much the male gender here. We shouldn't need instructions until you are all done and have a couple peices left over or it doesn;'t work. hahah.. yeah. but anyways. I just got my LM Blitz from jeff at HT and it is one fine piece of art. Do any of you paint the Blitz logo on the intercooler. Just wondering.. I was thinking of doing it, but i really don't think i will .

I think i'm going to locate the BOV on the cold pipe. Probably right above the battery tray. I'll mount it vertically so I don't have to worry about it hitting the hood or me bumping it later on while working on the car. Has anyone popped in a hole in the biltz or any other kits cold pipe and welded a flange to it? I'm making a flange at work, then i'll just drill a hole and bore it out to the exact size on the cold pipe. Tig a nice bead around the flange and wolla.

I couldn't even really tell if the pics were detailed. It looked like it was printed off of a two dollar copy machine. But who cares, anyone with half a brain can figure out how to install it. I am very happy with the Blitz kit, if I were to reccomend one, it'd probably be the Blitz, simply because of bang for the buck quality.

(By the way, what good are PICTURED instructions for an S13 intercooler going into an S14 chassis anyway)? Think about it that way.

i got the blitz LM and installed it yesterday. Instructions were bad (2 dollar photcopier job) But it is easy and there were pics of the pertinant stuff. My only question is - I have a bunch of brackets leftover??? The only place I can possible see to put one in on the hotpipe side where there is a fitting but I don't see where that would attach onto my car.

Does any of this make sense?

I installed my hks type-s today.the pics arent very clear but clear enough to know what to do.I think the brackets are for the windscreen whiper spray bottle/resevoir(or whatever its called)At least the hks comes with brackets to reposition the bottle/resevoir

Image number 3 shows the cool little stickers blitz puts on the pipes to tell you what direction/order they go in

From the pictures, the Blitz looks like about the same as Greddy Vspl. The Greddy will be much more than enough for me. It's pretty well built. I'm not dissatisfied with Greddy at all. It's just that it's missing instruction Good thing you have that FAQ going, Jeff! :) :)
