there are some weber downdraft carbs that work great... lots cheaper than the side draftsthe 32/36 is a common 'quick replacement'

i'm still running stock... i just happen to be lucky and mine runs way better than most

price wise... not bad... i think 200 will get ya a decent one that might need some cleaning/rebuild

the 32/36 is not what i would be running tho... its mainly for those who don't have or plan to do a lot of work... its great until you start doin internal work then you'd want something bigger

dude, do yourself a favor and stay the hell away from that hitachi, its garbage, a TBI unit is just as bad as far as performance although it is pretty efficient and somewhat reliable, it went with a weber 36/36 on my 720, and it made a huge difference it performance, although MPG's went down considerably( from 24 mpg to about 16) but i think with some more tuning i can get it around 20. im running 31x10.5 m/t's though. i got my carb new from weber for 279.99 and thats with the whole conversion kit. you wont regret it
