Anyone wanna let me know the Injectors they are running on their turbo ka? Also include the fuelpump in there too and anything else you deem as necessary and coherent to the subject.

Rick

P.S. Anyone got a stock KA Flywheel they wanna sell me?

Rick, are you looking for injectors to make your ka run 12's like your sig says??? Also you could prob. find a stock ka flywheel from http://www.car-parts.com for real cheap. For a 12 sec 240, I would THINK you would need at least 570cc injectors, but I COULD very well be wrong. You would also need a bigger fuel filter I think, like a 300ztt. Hope this helps man.

Just a question but are you going to lighten the stock flywheel?? If thats what your planning, I'd like to be the first to say not to do it. They don't take well to the procedure. If a flywheel comes apart while your racing, it could remove big portions of your legs.

No, I am only going to have it resurfaced. And yes, the machine shop my ka is sitting at right now said they had a lightened, cast iron flywheel shatter and on their engine dyno and go through a 1/4" thick steel bellhousing. I wont be lightening it, and with 8.5:1 compression I would like to keep daily driveability, and with a light flywheel, it wont help.

As for injectors, I was told by Ben@ JWT to go with 72lb injectors, but Rob@ Enjuku said that was overkill, anyone got any ideas?

I'd venture to say 550's would do just fine. 72 pounders sound a bit on the big side. How much HP are you looking for and at what boost?? Thats usually how I base my desicsions.

Personally, I would go with the largest I could afford and work with for future potential. JWT can do the 72 lbs with no idle problems. Anything larger would probably necessitate a dual stage set-up to avoid idle issues if you're building a street car.

About 350-ish HP, and hopefully about 20lbs of boost max. What combo do you come up with?

For 350 hp I don't see why 550's wouldn't work. Anything bigger and the duty cycle would be very low. I can't remember exactly but I think you want your duty cycle to be from 75% to 85% for the most efficiency. If you need to go bigger at a later date you should be able to sell the 550's.

Are you going to be using a top feed setup? Are you going with a larger fuel rail? I've never personally swapped out a 240sx fuel pump, but I've swapped tons of others. For 350 hp you can get some nicely priced pumps out of summit. http://www.summitracing.com I had a BBK installed in my Skyline for 3 years with no probs what so ever. With a good fuel press reg set to around 40psi you should have plenty of go juice.

For the record, my friend has 720cc injectors in CA18DET. He's only running 400 hp and his car seems to run just fine. But he's using a full standalone. His duty cycle is very low, like I mentioned earlier.

currently 4x310cc rc injectors and 2x480cc aux injectors....

with a 1000hp inline aeromotive race pump with 10an fuel lines

have on order JWT 4x 72lb (756cc) msd injectors, and will still have the 2x480cc injectors for overspray if needed...
