For 350 hp I don't see why 550's wouldn't work. Anything bigger and the duty cycle would be very low. I can't remember exactly but I think you want your duty cycle to be from 75% to 85% for the most efficiency. If you need to go bigger at a later date you should be able to sell the 550's.
Are you going to be using a top feed setup? Are you going with a larger fuel rail? I've never personally swapped out a 240sx fuel pump, but I've swapped tons of others. For 350 hp you can get some nicely priced pumps out of summit.
http://www.summitracing.com I had a BBK installed in my Skyline for 3 years with no probs what so ever. With a good fuel press reg set to around 40psi you should have plenty of go juice.
For the record, my friend has 720cc injectors in CA18DET. He's only running 400 hp and his car seems to run just fine. But he's using a full standalone. His duty cycle is very low, like I mentioned earlier.
