What I got to drive today.

While taking the trash out at work I walked by the general manager of the dealership washing his 911 Carrera S in one of the wash bays. I struck a quick convo about the car and next thing I know he tosses me the keys. He even dropped the top so I could 'get the full effect'. I took it out for a quick 10 minute test drive and it was amazing! What a car!! Everyone at work was in awe that he handed me the keys, so was I!

Not his but this is it. He also owns a 928 S4.

Wow! I'm jealous! That's sweet though he trusted you to drive it. I don't trust anyone but my girl to drive my 240, definitely wouldn't let anyone drive my 911! I also want to know what Pento asked.

My FAVORITE Porsche. They look amazing, sound amazing, and drive amazing. Most Porsche fans hate them because they're "not proper Porsches" which is exactly the same reason I love them.

Tyte. How was the response and how fast did you go to?

It handled the curves with no effort at all. I didn't go too hog wild but we do have a nice s-curve up the road from the dealership. On the straight it has some nice get-up-and-go that took me by surprise. Over 4k it becomes a rocket totally throwing me back in the seat, well as far back as a Porsche seat will allow. I felt secure and stable, no leaning, no slouching, you sit in a upward position which gives you good reach of all the controls. I had it up to 75mph in no time flat. I didn't catch my highest speed because I was too focused on the road and traffic around me, bosses car you know?
