That's actually my buddy's GT500, he just got those wheels too. He's also completely replaced the braking and suspension systems. The Vette is an '82 which was the last of the C3's and a special edition with the "Crossfire Injection" engine. My dad bought it in '83 and it's hardly left the garage, everything except the paint and stereo are all original stock. I'm debating if I should sup it up or not. I love that car so much I've been thinking of getting another one for cheap just to play with but I'm sure it would take a good 5 years before I could afford it.Qxxx4 wrote:thanks for sharing that! thats an awesome mix of cars. ive been hooked on the new shelbys lately so that was my fav one id say. your vette is in mint condition..how long have you had it for? is that a 1980? around that year right? keep keepin it klean lol
The TA and this car were the most badass sounding rides I have EVER heard. The Camaro was totally unreal, notice how everyone in the pic is starring, yeah it was that amazing.SVTCOBRA wrote:Cool pics!! I actually road in a Starsky Torino back in the day! Also, had a buddy with a 455SD TA like the white & blue one back in HS.He snapped the axle when he lost it and it popped a curb.
I was blown away when I saw it. My buddy with the GT500 told me that he's seen XJ220's, Enzo's, F40's, F50's and even a Vector there! The only other time I was there I saw a white Countach and about 4 years ago I saw a Pagani Zonda on the freeway right around that area. Ohh yeah when I was leaving the lot on Sunday I also saw an SLR McLaren. There was also a Carrera GT but I'm not as big of a fan as most. Boy do I love LA! Nowhere else in the world that I know of has such a variety of exotics and supercars in such a concentrated area.KoukiS14 wrote:I'd blow a guy for an Atom. . man that's awesome.
Not this time but there is a guy who's got one in the city I live in. I've seen it about 4 times. I know it sounds unbelievable but there are that many amazing cars around here. It's funny when I travel for work and people ask about the cars, they're just amazed at what we see, and so am I.fukinitupagain wrote:What no DeLorean's?... it looks like it was fun.
It's in a city called Calabasas, just on the border of the Ventura/LA County line. It occurs the first Sunday of every month but I guess the Sunday before Labor Day is the biggest of the year. I'm hoping to have some work done on the Vette by ext year.AJRK wrote:Where exactly is it? Might have to check that out one weekend.
Thanks! This was a pretty amazing ride, one of the cleanest there. The car from the opening credits of Entourage(on HBO) was there as well, I'm not sure what it was but it looked incredible.bmlawless wrote:Nice looking Vette. This is my favorite, it reminds me of the '66 Nova I had in high school:
Ooh that big 60's Lincoln Continental with suicide doors! Nice!Empty V wrote:

Yeah I'd love to check that out sometime, I'm in the Palm Springs area for the next 6-8 months, so if I'm ever out in those parts on a weekend I'll definitely head over there. I love classic cars, mucle cars and exotics. Your Vette looks really nice too. I like the C3 a lot and that color looks amazing. What work are you doing to the Vette?
