What Hp is a T3 .60/.48 good for?

Anyone know? It has a .60 Compressor side and a .48 turbine side. Also, at which RPM should I see boost at? Thanks

The .60 A/R compressor doesn't really tell us much...it depends on the TRIM.

But you should be able to do 250rwhp easily (if you have the fuel/tuning for it)...and the turbo will probably max out somewhere in the ~300rwhp range, or a little under that.

Tell us the trim, and we'll tell you exactly where.

The .48 turbine will limit your top end, however...choking off the motor. That's TINY for a 2.4 liter.

Thanks Brian, I'm not sure on the trim because it came from the junkyard off of a Ford something or other. What RPM will it start to choke the motor?Thanks

Ford 2.3L turbos use a 60 trim comp wheel. The automatics have 0.48AR and the manuals have 0.63AR. The manual's turbo is very similar to the Z31 turbo.

with that turbo u will see boost whenever you want. literally whenever. i can get 12 pounds instantaneously with my str8 T3. um as for power peak, ur fuel will determine how much u can make. to max out that turbo tho, u will need a z32 MAF so start saving for that if u dont have one yet.

T3 60-trim can do ~32lbs/min as a max, and still be on the map...so that's 320crank HP or so, maybe ~295-300rwhp...MAXXED out.
