I want to use some type of oil resistant hose since oil will obviously get in there at some point but i cannot seem to find any oil resistant hose that is 5/8. What do you all use for this? Its obvious that everyone replaces it. I may be able to get Auto transmission cooler line thats 5/8" would that be good or is that different? I know the corrosive effects are different between ATF and oil.

Heres what im talking about if you didnt know.

Ive used coolant line and never had any problem. When I did my header I got rid of that tank thing and just used hose. Then I rerouted the other end from the intake to a catch tank instead.

only think is that nylon braided pvc hose doesn't like hot liquids/radiant heat..i did the same thing and took off the stock oil separator can, ran some heater hose back there with heat wrap on it. i had that clear nylon braided stuff and after running the motor and revving it, etc etc while i was adjusting my waste gate..i noticed it'd started to shrivel up and pinch itself off because it'd gotten hot.

Hmm, id pay pretty much anything right now for some stuff that is actually oil, fuel and heat resistant. The amount of searching i have done is just rediculous. I mean i have found this http://www.forgemotorsport.com...16/FL however for some reason the people that work there say that it is not oil resistant? or cannot transport oil? I just dont get it this stuff has to be out there.

Oil isn't all that corrosive. If it was it would burn your hand everytime you changed your oil. And it does if you are like me and wait 5 minutes after you get home to change it.

Call up JGS Turbo and see what kind of hose they sell with their oil return kits. It's used for transporting hot oil, oil vapors can't do anything worse to it.

It looks like the hose from Forge Motorsport but it has a layer of orange silicon braided in with the blue.

Good idea, i will contact them and see whats up. I called Forge today and apparently this stuff that they have is amazing and will never deteriorate. I may just go with theres but i will call jgs for sure since im going to need some thats able to transport hot oil for the oil return on my buddies CA.

Agreed.5/8" heater hose.

If you are worried about heating, you can wrap it in Speedtape.

My swap didnt come with the restrictor i guess because i didnt have it in the lines i took off

I ordered the Forge motorsport stuff so i will let you all know how it turns out.

$60 for 3 feet sounds like much but its got a flourosilicone layer on the inside so it should not break down from any fuel/oil combo.

Is it 100% oil and fuel proof? I never saw any spec sheets for the hose used in that stuff.
