Guyssssssss...I finnaly got a chance to take the transmission off today. Getting closer to finishing the swap....yeah right.....

After blowing the dust off the clutch that comes with the engine into my lungs The clutch is revealed.... what type of clutch this is??? it looks thicker than normal...

I got 2 questions:1. What type of HKS clutch is this?2. Does it looks like it needs replacement? Can I just replace the disc?3. Where can I re-surface the flywheel and the pressure plate?

Rendy

Thats just your typical light duty HKS clutch.

Rated for about 350 PS I believe.

Nismo uses the same pressure plate.

This HKS clutch that came with the engine has hairline cracks as seen on the picture. So I don't want to take a chance. . I finally got to take apart my engine today. The flywheel is off, front pulley off and the mani as well.. I can see clearly now. Its got thick JDM carbon deposits!!!
