How much did they cost? Where you got them from and what noticeable gains did you get?

i paid less than 100 for the set, designed/modified them myself, and achieved 10.5:1 c/r and 2502cc in ka24e. with that compression ratio high octane fuel is required to get maximum power, i have had no chance to dyno but the butt says :D

and you've had no problems with a 91.1mm bore? how long have you been running it like that? do you use sleeves? what pistons and rings? do you have pics of the overbored block?

details man, give us details.

between bores is reduced .080". i have been running for about 2 months with absolutely no problems. i know of one other ka24e (non-turbo of course) at 91mm bore than has been running for over 7 years. no sleeves, i dont really want to tell everyone what my pistons are but they are from different car manufacture, they have a 36.1mm comp. ht, 2 - 2mm cast iron compression rings, 22mm press fit pin, and are flat top. i have no pics but you can imagine the distance between bores reduced .080" so there is very little room for the headgasket. the headgasket actually protrudes into the cylinder a few thousands. the pistons must be modified along with the ka24e rods. took quite a bit of extra thought and machining processes but still well worth it compared to price of other high comp. ka24e piston sets

well its in the beginning stages. ive got a pdm c404 cam, and 3 angle grind w/backcut on the vavles. i want to get some individual throttle bodies (dont we all) but i might settle on some mikuni or weber carbs. that is if im not satisfied with 370cc ca18 injectors and safc

good luck with the mikunis. i've seen them go for $600 for ones that need to be rebuilt to $1200 (easily) for sets that are in good shape.

yeah i know the search is still on. ITB is so tempting, i want them so bad. standalone would also hike up the price but i think i could make it work with stock ecu and piggyback. ill throw some carbs on if or when i find them. anyone know places that currently carry the ka24e nissan motorsports intake manifold? courtesy doesnt seem to anymore :(

edit: pair of redline weber 45 DCOE go for $650 brand new

Dude youre insane! When i did my na setup last year i would have killed for 2.5liters. Damn i just used the sohc 9.1's on a dohc and got out over 12 to 1 and burned oil like mad. I dont think displacement went up that much at all. In fact i prolly lost displacement. Hope that head gasket holds up too...
