I'm just wondering what you guys have swapped ur engines into, besides a 240sx, which seems a little common.

I was thinking about maybe putting it into something a little older, like say my 46 lincoln where size is no problem and maybe turboing it down the road.

Why were your swaps bad ideas?

Its stupid, because........to go the retro tech route I had to widen the engine bay, install mcpherson struts up the front to make more room, install rack and pinion steering, make new sump, big brakes, upgrade master cylinder, find smaller booster ,modify pedals, fabricate headers, complete rewire to suit Q45 dash and computers, custom drive shaft, make fuel tank with surge control, new fuel lines, pump, regulator, ditch leaf springs, make 4 link, mod chassis,new rear seat to go around 4 link rod mounts ... its an endless list that I have only got half way on. But it will look cool and ride like a brand new car

I'm contemplating putting one in my mom's '86 grand wagoneer. Not as hard as the Falcon, but up dating to the newer power is a bit daunting, at least it will fit with minimum frame mods.

I slapped mine into my 1986 HR31 Nissan Skyline GTS-X, mainly because I love the look of this generation of Skyline more than any other.
