I have an 06, and never clocked it exactly from start to finish, so i just want to hear from you.

Also, using tiptronic, when shifting before the redline at about 5500rpm is it bad for the engine if you held it there for a few seconds, just wondering

I get alot better 0-60 with the tiptronic, i feel kind of a lag just slaming down the accelerater from a full stop wothout the tiptronic. Thanks

I'm not sure anyone's dragging a V6 luxury sedan so you might have a tough time getting numbers. The 45 guys may have done some runs, but that won't help you out at all.

The Infiniti M35 goes 0-60 in 6.1 seconds and covers a standing quarter mile in 14.8 seconds (Car and Driver).

There's pretty much no harm holding it at about 5500rpm. The only thing you basically doing is wasting a great amount of fuel. What I realized with the tiptronic mode is a delay in upshifts. Everytime you would go upshift the engine will still rev about a few hundred rpms before completing the upshift. Downshifting is a different story due to the rev matching feature. It also waste a great amount of fuel if you are using it as everyday driving due to the rise in rpms.
