Naw, you won't get flack. I know all of the was wrong since it wasn't done on the track but just being honest here. I stay in the country with wide open backroads and highways, & that's where all of this was done at.
Also, I am very skeptical about the outcomes, but since I actually know the drivers of some of these vehicles, and was able to do more than one run, I know the outcomes are real. Talked to one of the Service Managers at the dealership about how fast the Versa is, and he said it's because of the gearing in the CVT (but falls on it's face after 110mph stock but can get 125mph)
I've beaten (IN STOCK TRIM) with the CVT transmission....
2006 Nissan Altima 3.5 (my boy) (walked down low and up top on the hwy)2002-2005? BMW X5 (35-45 roll til 100: Him starting 2 car lead, me ending 2 cars ahead) 1997-1999 Nisssan Maxima SE (smoked down low and up top)2006-7 Toyota 4 Runner (down low)2005-7 Chrysler 300C or SRT8 (I saw SRT-8 badging & stock 20" wheels, but doesn't make sense for a Versa to beat that on the hwy & tie from a dig eventhough I used to have a 300C lol) 2005-2006 Chevy Silverado SS (60-105 roll me up 1/2 car) 2004 Acura Legend Sedan (down low til 110 me up 3-4 bus lengths lol) 1996 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS? (non-turbo w/intake & exhaust) (down low til 90 or so me up 2-4 cars)2005-2006 Honda Accord Sedan 4 cylinder (from a dig & killed the Honda)2005-2006 Cadillac Deville (dig & hwy walked him bad)2005-2006 Audi 1.8T (hwy & SMOKED him)2006-7 Nissan 350Z Roadster (down low to about 80-85 near the dealership--salesman was driving it trying to catch me and he couldn't LOL)
A few other rides, I can't remember. The Versa must have a higher trap speed than we know about at least in the CVT.
Does anyone know what the Versa actually traps with the CVT? I know all the car mag sites & such have the Versa's performance TBA since the orginial figures don't match what the car does once the engine is broken in.
I'm planning to head to the track soon, hopefully before my CAI gets here so I can see what she can trap stock. And it'll be fun to get smoked at the track too lol!
