Unbelievable--Have a 91 240 sx, had a mechanic replace slave cylinder, clutch plate, and I think the master cylinder, the clutch burned up in 7 miles, thought maybe he did not bleed the box next to the slave cylinder, had it repaired again by a different mechanic, he replaced burned parts, driven around 200 miles and now this clutch is slipping so a friend told me--into it for $425.plus now and still don't have a car I desparately need and am close to being out of money. I had the engine replaced also with another one with 83,000 miles on it, no problem there so far. What could the problem be?

take it back to the mechanic. They need to honor their work.

Definitely sounds like the clutch adjustment to me. My guess is it isn't letting the clutch and flywheel fully separate when the pedal is depressed.
