The weather was perfect, we could not have asked for a better day. NXER was beautiful, when I saw her in her wedding dress I failed my will save and was stunned for 1d4 rounds. We took our pictures at the old band stand at the fire company. The Fire company marching band played there in the 1920s, back when they did that sort of thing. We also to a few at the old pump house.

We were married in the park where we went for some of our first dates. The maid of honor's father played the music on his Spanish guitar, and we held the ceremony on the foot bridge over the creek.

It was a mostly traditional ceremony. We wrote our own vows, which were video game related, as we are both avid gamers. I'll spare you the ultra sappy part, and post the end of my vows
"for victories and failures, in rad-sickness and at full health, to love and to cherish, until we run out of extra lives do us part." NXER promised "through Normal and Inferno"

The reception was wonderful. It was held at the Fireman's Park, also owned by the fire company. (My Father, Mother, Brother, and both Sisters are members) It was a great place as we had a pavilion with power and rest rooms, and plenty of space for the kids to play.

We opted to grill and have a pot-luck style dinner to save money, for reasons far too irritating and complex to go into. (Short version, father of the bride is a d!ck) In all, I think it worked out great.

The DJ we hired was only 17, but he did a great job. Our original DJ cancelled on us, as he had to go out of town on short notice, so we were left with 1 week to the wedding to find a new DJ. He did a fantastic job, and he was cheaper lol.

It was fantastic to see all of our friends again. One of my friends drove all the way from Memphis (a 12 hour drive) in his slammed drift car to be there. It really makes you feel loved when so many people go to such effort to make the day special. I'm truly touched by all my friends and family did for us.
Rather than something useless and ornamental like flasks, I decided I would get my groomsmen some Nissan shirts and hats. I'd much rather they get something useful than something that will sit on a shelf and collect dust. Much to her mother's dismay, NXER insisted on wearing her NISMO earrings for the ceremony.

I honestly can not remember when I've had a better time. All the love and support form our friends and family were truly touching.

And remember, we take our Nissans seriously, very seriously.
