What harness for U13 BB in B14 200sx

A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Can I use the U13 harness to install a U13 bluebird engine into a B14 200sx SE 1.6 and what mods will I have to do to make this work? I searched and couldnt find anything really useful, besides saying to swap to se-r harness. Thanks

There's a sticky up top about 1.6->2.0 swaps. It should be quite useful for what you're looking at. An SE-R harness will probably do the trick for your U13 setup.

Well if it says use an SE-R harness, that's probably for a reason. Hence my last sentence in my first post.

I think you'd run into problems using a U13 BB harness because of the whole rhd/lhd issue.

In fact, I don't think you read the sticky very well:

Use the SE-R harness for what chasis code you have. If you have a B14, get a B14 se-r wiring harness. If you have a B13, get a B13 se-r wiring harness.

Or if you really want to make things simple. Sell your car and buy a SE-R.

Thanks smartass!

On a serious note thanks for the USEFUL info red_det Meant to put Im trying to use a B13 se-r harness from my classic se-r donor car that was t-boned in a B14 1.6 200sx. The classic is what the sr20det came out of. I am having trouble sourcing a B14 se-r harness. RED_DET you helped me get the white classic going aka 91sr20det.

No need to get ugly. He simply told you the information was all there in the sticky. No local junkyards around with some b14 se-r's?

Like has been said, it CAN be done, but it's probably going to be more of a PITA than you're interested in.

There are search services online for car parts, Google around and find one. Also, did you ask your local junkyard(s) if they're part of a larger national network? A lot of times they can call the order out to all their affiliates and see if anyone has the part.

Hey dude, go to httP://www.jgycustoms.com/ and there they have a page that tells you EVERYTHING you need to buy to install a 2.0 into a 1.6 chassis. You can also buy parts there or search other places to round up all the parts you need? Stop 'ing your self with these tough guys that want only pleasure at your expense, hook up with me and you'll be making them all day long! http://www.car-part.com/ http://www.uneedapart.com/ and many other sites I know of selling used parts besides the forums we all already know of? This is easy and simple to do it, do not give up you'd be surprise how easy and fast this can be done. If it can be done sr20 to a B12 you KNOW you should be able to sr20 a B13, duh??!!??!!??!! DO NOT GIVE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!
