I recently purchased a Q45 front brake kit from a member. He stated that it would include everything; even pads, but all I received were rotors and calipers.

I've been having trouble reaching him and have basically given up. I only payed 75 bucks so I can't complain too much.

The ad that he posted states that he is selling them off of a 92. But the ad had been there a while and when I replied asking if he still had the fronts available. He stated that he had "a" pair of fronts available; not that he had "the" pair of fronts available. The reason this matters is because the information under his avatar states that he has a 94. I've done some searching and found that there are some differences between the years. Here's the ad he posted if your interested

So I don't know what parts I need to get.

Also who is this Joe guy I keep hearing I should buy my Q45 brake parts from?

Thanks in advance!

The pads, rotors, caliper rebuild kits, shim kits, and calipers are all sold separately.

There is no "front brake kit."

So is there a difference between 92 and 94 model year brake parts?

Late 94 eliminated the electical sensor "brake pads worn" and replaced it with a mechanical "squealer" to inform you it was time to change the pads

Thanks. I don't think I'll have to worry about that; I'm using these brakes as an upgrade to my 240.

So you are running the 4 stud standard brakes on the rear?

Much better solution to convert to rear J30/FGY33 calipers and rotors and go 5 stud all the way around.

I don't want to mess with the e-brake situation. And I also have 3 sets of 4lug wheels
