I just have a stock vlsd but it's been leaking where the driveshaft to the differential unit itself. I been meaning to get it fixed, but I been kind of busy.

So anyways, I Drive driving home yesterday. Making a left the the car suddenly fish tailed. I drove normal, the turn was only 30 to 40mph. I have upgraded suspension, grippy tires and I was shocked. I must have made this left turn hundreds of times.

Could low or no differential fluid caused this?

Did the rear end lock up, like the rear wheels stopped spinning for a split second. Usually when the rear end goes low on fluid it chews up the ring gear and its starts to lock up. You will have to open it up to see how bad it is. I had a open diff go out before and it would lock up the rear tires every once in a while.

mine simply shot 3 teeth off the ring gear out through the rear cover.
