What goes in the hole by the cig lighter?? Oh yeah, I have manual mirrors.

my 1990 240sx has manual mirrors and I'm trying to find out if there's just a blockoff plate or what goes beside the cig. lighter on the console?? My friends 89 240sx has power mirrors and his switch is there. I just have a rectangular hole.

u sorta answered the ? yourself.... either power window controller or a blockoff plate...

strolling on carfiche.com, there seems to be no OEM part# for a blockoff plate; i'm assuming other 89-90 240sx's w/out power windows have a hole on them too...chime in other owners to confirm.

weird, i have a wire assembly for the ashtray, but lost the wittle bulb...part#5 of page 571 on carfiche; part # 98515-35F00 $4.83 (dunno what date that page was scanned)

does other owners have it & does it work???

N-E-ways, i'm planning on making my own blockoff plate w/ 2 lighted rocker switches; 1 for aftermarket fog/driving lights & another for a future project

I have manual mirrors, and it's just an empty hole.

The light by the ashtray works too.

Good location for a Hyperspeed switch.....I took my cig lighter (Blah!) out and replace with a volume knob for my tweeters....looks OEM, Baby!!!

There is a block off plate, my car happened to still have it's plate, though most of the tabes are broken off
