like everyone else with a 03-04 G35 im also having promblems with my a/c and radio it sucks! Well since the weather is alot cooler now where i live(central cali) i dont need the a/c any more so i removed the two blower fuses but the compressor is always working and its not helping my MPG, so i looked for a fuse or relay but found nothing not even under the hood(in front of batt), so how can i disconnect it or is there a fuse that i didnt see? If anyone can shed some light thank you in advance.

Put your fuses back.

Your blower motor has nothing to do with your compressor, and your compresser draws NO power when the A/C is not on... that's why it has a clutch, so it can freewheel.

You're thinking of the alternator, which applies a tiny amount of drag to the engine... Modern cars don't need 60's interventions to make power.

If you want that 0.5 hp back, take out the floor mats.

Now, let's figure out what's up with your MPG and power and address it properly.

ok i guess i should have been more specific, when i said i was having problems with a/c and radio. The broblem is its stuck full blast on the coldest setting so thats why i removed the blower fuses not for any other reason and wanted to diconnect the compressor cause i dont need it to been on. So the compressor puts no drag on the engine what so ever?

Check out Beancooker's link. If you read the thread, you'll see that your issue is a common problem. There is at least one if not two of our sponsors who repair this issue. Something about the circuit board for the climate control and radio being one in the same and when one has issues, they both go bizurk.

The climate control will keep the a/c compressor running which WILL put drag on your car. I don't suggest finding the clutch relay and disabling it. You may run into even more issues.

Just get it fixed.

I would take it to a dealer and raise hell. This problem is far to widespread to be denied a proper fix on Nissan's tab.

don't solve the problem by creating another problem... i agree with the earlier post... get the radio repaired before something else breaks and could cause you more $$$$..
