ok.. so i have been spending alot of time recently doing my homework on the s13 240sx stuff to improve performance.. and i was noticing.. that there are alot of rb25det swaps going up for about the same as it would cost to turbo a kade... correct me if im wrong but isnt the rb25det a much better motor than the kade for performance? it puts down alot more power right? even a built kade struggles to put down what a stock rb25 does.. right? and now they have plug and play wireing kits for these kind of swaps so you dont have to try to figure out the wiring.. so what am i missing? why havent more people been doing the rb25 det swap of say the rb20 or even just kadet? whats the deal and why?

Because not everyone can find rb motor parts as easy as the sr20 or ka24e,de, or det.

To clear that up for you, you said built KAs won't put down as much as a stock RB25. If you are talking NA KA then yes, if you are talking Turbo KA, then you need to research more.

i meant a stock kade turboed.. they put down about the same but you can push the rb25 further before a rebuilt to put in built internals.. but i think what im going to do is build a stroked kade and boost the snot out of it..

yes but building a kade to be turboed will first off be stronger than ur stock rb25 and secondly much cheaper to build. yes the swap originally for a rb25 costs about the same as a turboed ka but cheaper overall and as stated easier to find parts
