What gasket kit should I get?

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

So after some debating, I have made the choice to rebuild 1 of my 2 KA24DE engines as NA. This is my first full engine rebuild, but with engine experience behind me, I feel some what confident I should be able to do this with out any complications.

However I am gathering up the parts for the rebuild and wondering what gasket kit I should get for the rebuild. I was thinking of the Sealed Power kit part # 2601757 off of rockauto.com. It looks like it has everything I need for gaskets. I am concerned about how reliable their head gasket is. I will be racing it at the drag strip, and mainly autocross events. Mods will be CIA, exhaust, port and polish, and removal of emissions. Otherwise I was going to get a Felpro head gasket which I hear seems to be fine upto 200WHP on a turbo.

Any recommendations?

Ok, Thanks RJ, I switched it over to felpros FEL-PRO Part # HS9820PT for the head and FEL-PRO Part # CS9820 for the block.

Any recommendations on piston rings?

I am planning to get Blevite main bearings, and connecting rod bearings as well.

Any recommendations on a brand of timing chains for the 240?

me personaly i would get a named brand metal head gasket. i guess felpro would work but i'd do the ARP. espically with turbo app.

Yep, I plan to get a nice metal gasket for my turbo engine that I will be rebuilding at a later time, this engine is NA.

felpro gaskets, arp studs, oem rings

if your gonna get a metal one, get a cometic, i got one laying around if you wannat buy it
