What G50 parts should I stockpile for use 10 years from now?

I have owned 6 Q45's, with 3 still on hand. From a previous discussion the concensus was that my Q's, if well maintained, would still be in service in 10 years. Rather than life-span, the limitation may be parts availability.

Q45tech observed that NISSAN no longer supplies some new parts for the 90-93, and that this will soon begin to happen for 94-96. He also admitted to having ammassed and enviable hoard of spare parts to assure continued service of his Q well into the next decade.

I have a random collection of window regulators, fuel pumps, FPCU's, TCU's, ABS pumps, etc. So, the question becomes, if I were to develop a more logical collection of back-up parts, what would your "TOP 10" list be? Or maybe Top 20 if we're looking 10 years out?

Depends on what you have room to store.

AC eavaporator closets, rear subframe assemblies, if you can still get them.

In short, everything you have room for.

The thing that breaks will be the thing you don't have unless you have 2 of everything.................best to buy them on the hoof, entire wrecks that can be towed.

An old thread but a very good one. Not to mention a pretty short one, can anyone speak to which rapidly disappearing parts loyal and enthusiastic G50 owners should begin hoarding? Or extinct ones we should snatch up when we find them?

1990-1996 Q45's around my neck of the woods are hard to come by. 1997-2006 Q45's are a dime a dozen by comparison. So if you see a complete running/non running car and you can afford to buy it do so if you plan on keeping your Q.

Its going to be weird now I think saying "Q" as all of Infiniti will be called that. When I say "Q" in this forum before the name change the only oter Q was the QX (SUV). I wonder how this site is going to respond to the new name change.

sup guys.. say OPG that ABS actuator is available.. i tried PMing you but seems you haven't set it up yet.. i have to many parts for my G50.. time to sell.. my stock pile is getting to big.. shop only so big.. well have a good guys..
