I am building a KA24DE powered 510 with a fuel cellI need an intank fuel pump (The cell still has the low pressure pump in it that I ordered when I was going to run carbs)My question is, what pump should I buy?How many LPH should it be? Is there any downside to getting say a 255 LPH pump if I don't really need it (Noise?) or should i just get the 255 walbro and call it good?

BTW I tried to search but the site keeps telling me I have to log in to search (I obviously am already logged in since I am posting this)

whats up man you get that monster together yet?

a stock pump is plenty for n/a but a walbro and aftermarket fpr is always best NEVER enough fuel IMHO. IIRC your setup should need a good fuel supply. Walbro is 89 IIRC and a megan(perfectly fine for 3years in my car on a walbro) afpr from eghey or w/ever.. noise shouldnt be too bad I cant tell the diff from stock/walbro, but thats not in a 5dime or fuel cell. let me ask this, is the cell gonna be in the trunk or under the trunk(like you cut out the floor and bolted it around the space cut out)?

I cut the spare tire well out and wleded in a sheet of steel and a frame for the fuel cell. It will hang under the trunk floor.

I haven't done anything on the car for a while because I am waiting for my shop to get done (then I will be waiting for power to the shop) the good news is they finally started putting up the framing for the shop so it will be done soon and I can get all my stuff out of my garage and have some room to work.

Walbro 255... Cheap, reliable, and will handle anything you throw at it.

That is a thing of beauty you are building there. As for the pump, I agree with the Walbro and an adjustable fpr. Cheap and plenty enough capacity for more power.

damn I forgot how much sex you put on that thing

you should be cool with the walbro like that,if its too much you can always make a cover out of f/g or c/f. let me ask : are you bangin out this work yourself? if so great work,if not post names of companies the work is good

btw walbro and megan fpr is good for making stock 270cc injectors handle 8psi got boosted man so it will handle yo needs
