Hi. Im looking to build a new daily driver. ive always loved z's so i decided to go with that. I dont know much about them, or about heir aftermarket support. Im still researching, however i know i want an early 240z. I looked through a bunch of pics and decided i wanted on of these two front bumpers, but i have no idea what the are. If someone could please let me know the brand and where i can buy it i would greatly aprreciate it. Thanks in advance.

Datsun offered our Domestic 240z's extended fiberglass ‘aero-dyna’ nose, wider over-fenders riveted to the body, a rear spoiler, acrylic glass headlight covers and fender mounted rear view mirrors. In Japan they were just another trim called the 240zg.

The G-nose which is the bottom part below the "bumper" you mentioned was sold in America as an option. Now do your research noob.

hahaha.....its been a while since ive been called a noob. Yea, i tried doin a bunch of research over the last couple of days. Ive seen a few cars sporting these kits, but no one mentioned what they were. I looked up g-nose and came up with a completely different bumper. Any help would be appreciated.

The g-nose wasn't sold here, so don't feel bad. Its was a japan only thing and quite rare here.

I think the airdam that your looking for is made by msa.http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/70-96

I'm not really big on the g-nose Z's to be honest with you.

neither of those cars has a g nose, they both have stock 240z bumpers with no override bars, and both have what looks like the MSA type 1 airdam with ducts, the second one I believe belongs to 240hoke

thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that really helped me out. Now its time to buy all this stuff and send the car to the body shop where it will be for the next few months. Ive seen that tokico illuminas are pretty popular for these cars as far as suspension goes. But i cant seem to find what people are using for springs. the car is just going to be my daily, so it desnt have to be a full coilover setup, however, i am looking for the most aggressive drop i could get. Any suggestions?

if you are happy with 7-8 wide wheels then there si no need for coil overs, MSA springs are popular, the eibach's are less popular for perfrmance driving but might be better suited to your daily commute

I was actually looking to use 17x9 wheels with custom offsets to fit fender flares. I saw the msa springs, thats what i think im going to run. I drove my 240sx with full suspension as my daily before i dedicated it strictly for the track. So my comfort tolerance is high.
