I'm just finishing welding my new radiator mount to move the radiator 3" forward so I can fit puller dual I30 fans in with room to spare! (same calsonic P/N as the altima)A total of 5 inches to crank pulley from radiator without fans.

They are nice and quiet on low and really strong on high.Fans- $35 (local u-pull-it)Metal and bars for new radiator mount- $20MIG welding wire- $15Total for awesome fan setup- $70!

Wired up to be on slow at key ACC (aux switch to shut them off in interior) and high when temp switch reaches *180 F.I'm going to add another switch inside to turn them on high full time in the future for hot days and hard driving.

Also, I had the stock fan without the shroud and didn't like how close it was to the radiator. There is a pic with it in the 2nd page of the build in my sig.Long post sorry.

If you can make them fit pullers are better.

super skinny I could get 2x 12" IIRC or 14" puller type, p/s pump pulley is super close using stock ka24e radiator. So far everything was fine. But viscous clutch type fan would be the way to go, but I'm not sure how all that works with shroud and which fan blade/clutch combo to use .

I switched from twin pullers to a flex-a-lite 160 puller and it was a world of difference. I will take size comparisons when I can but its amazing what proper shrouding and sizing can do for your cooling system.

I run one 14'' puller with the stock s14 rad and it runs the fan way too much. Temps never get bad though. FALs are in the mail luckily

Im using the flex-a-lite slim fan puller set up 12" and it works flawlessly. I was having trouble in traffic with just one 12" fan now I have no worries.

runnins a godspeed radiator (thicker than the rb25 one i was rockin before and aluminum, good price, everything on it was great except for the overflow nozel was on the wrong side, but a longer hose fixed that easier than re-shipping. also 2 12" pushers w/ shroud thing, and another 10" puller. used to have an external oil cooler, but complications arose with that, and since it was still getting warm, i just took it out. it was getting warm (think going too fast, 100+ for 73 days strait, and the a/c blowing super cold which i had JUST got working a week before the 2 month heat wave, it was just too awsome and convinient to have working a/c, so i would cycle it on and off as needed. but as of now, shes down, brake gremlins (needing a new 300zx booster).
