Tried X02- you can read about it in my other post.

I like the sound of the APS system, but I would really, really like to eliminate that ugly muffler. Love the look of the HKS, but it's too raspy for me. And I want a true dual. Any suggestions?

If you like the look of the HKS I'd look into the Motordyne Shockwave v2...there is a "gamma" version that is more quiet and in my opinion it sounds amazing, with absolutely no drone (so I've heard)..its the one I'm saving up for

I want a super quiet yet aggressive sounding exhaust, and out of all the searching I've done this has been my favorite. It comes with an XYZ pipe which replaced the existing y-pipe, which keeps it a true dual. Also if I wanted to do forced induction at a later point, the pipes are big enough. I've looked at the Fujisubo, which sounds amazing but doesn't really put out any real power and you'd still have to buy some type of y-pipe replacement. I also like the greddy ti-c but it sticks out a little too far from the bumper so it's fitment is what I didn't, but it does sound pretty good too.

The way I see it a good exhaust is going cost quite a bit. A think the combination I'm looking at is around 1500-1600, but I also want their 5/16" isothermal copper spacer. Supposedly those two together put out a descent amount of power....

Very good research. I had to take a break from researching. Classes are starting up again and all that good stuff. I was looking for a plenum spacer a while back. I like the motordyne one, but they guy said they don't make them for the '08 Z's. But, I have heard good things about the spacers.

My X02 has a loud drone at 2k-2.5k RPMs. I personally don't mind, but I know a lot of people would go nuts . Anyway, great find. I'm going to look into it some more. Thanks .

Yeah, you can't put a plenum spacer on any of the HR motors (07, 08 and 09).

I am new to the site and haven't figured out post so I am replying to this one. What are your thoughts on an exhaust replacement for a 2003 350Z. Mine needs a new muffler and I am trying to decide how far I want to go into the replacement. Just muffler or cat back. I also have noticed that the cat bolts are studs not bolts. Is that also a problem? Thanks
