what exactly is a nissan 180sx type-x?

i was wondering about the 180sx that they call type-x? right now im thinkin that its the s13 years from 95-98?

its just a trim. iirc, theres a type s and a type r too or something like that

It would be the equivalent of the integra type-R compared to the base model integra,(or a GT-R compared to a base model skyline...though not THAT drastic of a change) you know, a bit more power, better aesthetics, some suspension adjustments, better everything basically. The Type S and Type X share the same exterior styling, only one is turbo and one isn't.

And there are the Types:IIIIIISRX

I would believe the I-III are the earlier models versions, and the S-X are the later model versions...

Hmmm... I thought most people like Type-X OEM bodykit. Problem is wheels and tires setup. When it's done right, can't beat the OEM style IMHO.

wing is no good, and front bumper is no good either. 3 sections cut out at the bottom of the bumper? i dont think so... not my thing. nothing beats pignose with a lip. haha.

JDM= Japanese Domestic Market

OEM= Original Equipment Manufacturer

So whatever came or could come on a car straight from factory. JDM is more like talking about what came one the Japanese Versions cause we got screwed with about 90% of our cars.

JDM cars are way hotter in SO MANY ways it pisses me off.

That red 180 is the ish!!!

I'll see if anyone has some laying around, but mostly they come with a/m steering wheels.There were a bit of wood grain ones at my old work, but as I don't work there atm....heck, dunno if I can even go back...

eBay is the best place to get, but you could try pandagarage or jarco.

You are the very first guy who doesn't like s13 kouki bumper. I think front bumper is just gorgeous.

also most of the linkx still dont have any FULL type-x parts! jarco only had 1 180sx seat but im tryin to look for 4 of them the whole set and the JDM typr-x front, side, and back bumper and i can the others already but those r the only things i need left!

I also think the kouki kit is the ish. The modern angular styling definitely changed the look of the car. The car looks great in any trim IMO. Personally, I can't stand pignose bumpers. For some reason, Nissan sport cars all stand the test of time (240Z, 180/240SX, 300ZX,...ect) with their looks.

Chill the fug out mang, it's a rear valence it like bolts on to your bumber. have fun searching, and spending 300 dollars on them.
