Thats awesome...how long has she been a nurse for?? My mom has been a RN for 25+ yrs, loves her job. Im going for my BSN (bachelors of science & nursing) and I'll be an RN after 4 yrs of school. There's so many fields you can go into once you have your BSN...i think I want to work in pediatrics but who knows yet. At least I know I'll have job securityceniack wrote:my mom is/was in the medical field as an LPN, now she is a substance abuse counsler (sp?)
my mom has had some of the coolest freaking jobs.
since she has been a nurse she worked at a psych ward at a vetrans hospital, a scitzophernic (sp?) taught her how to play cribbage (she was one of the only nurses that wasnt' afraid to interact with the inmates)
she has worked at two different prisons as a nurse, one medium security, and the one she works at now as a counsler is minimum security.
before i was born she was a powder monkey (blew **** up) her license when she got it was a lifetime license, although probably not anymore.
will do when i find some time.97ka-t wrote:Drop me a line on AIM: nck082
