it was a 14.2 It was a good run. The exhaust was removed from the muffler bearing (yeah..it actually has one of those...I always thought it was a joke, but its the clamp w/ a spring loaded set of bolts...says muffler bearing in the repair manual..hmmm) back, and the intake was CAI. Other then that, the entire back half of the car was gutted, and I was running on low psi stock tires (well slicks if you know what 10K mi on the stock tires looks like.) I ran the car up to near redline, then spooled the clutch so it stayed near vvtli range for the duration of 1st, then speedshifted 2nd, and the rest was easy.
The mustang I just drove it...lol..
Anyway, no, a big V8 motor in my car is heresy here, I don't want to kill the handling. I also don't want to fab up brackets and mounts and deal w/ a frankenstein. And no, I can't do the engine install; but I do have a person that will do it right with any engine I choose for $750, and that money has already been set back.
