I heard that ka mounts (i.e.nismo) do not fit quite alright...that the engine sits lower in the engine bay... is it true if so what are my options..? thanks!

I am using the nismo CA mounts and a window welded transmission mount. Works good for me. Not too much vibration at idle.

The KA/SR mounts will make the CA sit funny. You'll have to get EDM NISMO mounts. You might be able to get one of our sponsors to get them for you. http://www.infinitipartsusa.com/http:// ... parts.org/

The part numbers you need are;11210-RS52011220-RS52011320-RS541 (trans mount)

IDK which is left or right, but which ever is shorter goes on the exhaust side of the motor.

The problem comes from where they have to get them from. They are a EDM only item. So I would guess that the dealer is having to have them shipped from over there to here and is charging you shipping costs plus a hefty profit because it's a pain in his butt and he doesn't want to do it.

Nobody else could get you a better price?

wth? EDM only? hell no, them's be JDM!

:P

NISMO S13 parts list

listed as engine mount, but in katakana.. I'm too lazy to type it into the forum and hope it keeps it correctly. same part 3#'s as above in the thread.

See.. JDM :P

They aren't any more EDM than they are USDM - they get imported but NISMO doesn't market to USDM / EDM really.. dealers/etc import the parts and market what they can locally.. that's changed some on recent vehicles but not so for ours.

price is listed.. 7350 yen for each left/right mount, and 5250 for the transmission mount. All told, thats retail in JDM land for 19950 yen, or as google calculator tells me ("19950 yen to dollars") 19 950 Japanese yen = 172.264917 U.S. dollars

I bought mine at courtesy ages ago and I think they were same price as SR NISMO mounts, but they don't have CA specific ones listed on their site as far as I see.. just the KA/SR ones (they don't specify, just list for the 240sx)..

this is going to sound really janky, but ive done it aswell a few people i know,if you still have the stock mounts, take them and drill a couple holes through the whole part of the rubber and go to home depot and get that black poly urethane and a caulk gun and fill them up with the poly aswell as the outer of them let them overnight and put them in,the car will vibrate, but not nearly as solid mounts and it gives the car a whole lot better response feel

I was JP w/Bio. If you can't find any locally for a decent price, I could try and get some locally and then ship them out to you USPS. Man I love Christmas smiley's!
