I was doing a bit of maintenance work today while it was sitting up on the engine stand. I wanted to change out the water pump, but found out that you have to take damn near EVERYTHING off the front of the motor to get to it unlike the KA where you just drop the PS belt and take it out... 5 minute job.
But, I guess I have to remove the crank pulley, and timing belt to get to it. Since I am going to have it all apart anyway, does anyone recommend replacing anything else up there while I have it apart?
I guess for a timing belt I can use a CA18DE one right? I already have my water pump and put in a new thermostat today too. I want to get the front end buttoned up and back together and ready to get in the car.
Thanks!
Joe
